I had just returned a really beautiful bamboo/bamboo filled duvet I thought would be perfect (I love bamboo sheets and duvets)but it was way too heavy for me at 6.24 lbs. I specifically wanted something lighter weight for summer than my all season down 2.6 lb down comforter 42 oz fill( 100% cotton cover, mostly down, no dark feathers.) I live in upstate NY- cold winters I like my temp at 65 and sleep hot. At 2.6 lbs I still too feel warm during hot summer nights. So this one at 1.25 lbs/ 20 oz fill I believe will be perfect for the summer. I love sleeping under cozy down; It's my non-negotiable.My search was extensive. Believe me this is the one for me! If you want heavier I would go with the all season.There are many comforters on Amazon so take a look; I don't think you will top this one. I will be back to Eastwarmth for my new all season queen comforter. I could not be happier!
